The Geelong Buccaneers are pleased to announce our coaches for this season.
Firstly we are delighted to appoint Jordan Pigott as Womens coach for 2019. We’re delighted to appoint club stalwart Jordo to his first head coach position!
The Colts will again be led by Sav Khair who coached a young group to the finals last season. Thanks Sav for all you do for the Buccs and we respect your ability to lead our young men.
Our senior group will transition its head coach with Brendon Bowe handing over the baton after three years. We are grateful to Bowie for devoting so much time to coaching our senior team, especially the added commitment of traveling down the highway for training and games.
By mutual agreement Brendon will be assisting our new head coach – Daniel Noonan. Whether this means Noonan is hanging up the playing boots we’re not sure – but he is unequaled in his passion for the Geelong Buccaneers. He will also be fresh off coaching the Vic Eagles u19 side in the national champs!
Our newest team – JV u15s – will be coached by a combination of experienced coaches to be announced. We have already had many enquiries about joining our JV side and we look forward to welcoming many new faces to the Club.
THANK YOU to all coaches for making this commitment – check out the photos for details of their amazing careers so far!
